^ i have no idea how i would do that...
you can find and use CDecrypt, but it honestly might just be easier/quicker to install your game, and then use FTPiiU to locate the title on your Wii U/USB drive, and then copy the new content folder into that title's folder and clicking yes to overwrite those files.

search for the game in the mlc. the folder will be half the content id (i.e.) 000500000/101A5600

Unless they installed the game to usb, in that case, do the same thing in the usb storage folder and not the mlc folder.

I assume it's not, since he asks if he should move it there. I know on usb it's in the usr folder.

Thanks for the share.
I would like to do that too, but how do you read the ID of the DS VC games stored in FTPiiU ? I suppose they are stored in storagemlc/usr/title/ID/ but how do you actually identify your DS games using their ID, is there a database or something ?

I don't think the title id site has ds game title ids. what I did was used saviine just to fake dump the file to get the title id folder to appear on my pc. I only had three games to change, so it didn't take that long.

Aaah okay because I have 100+ games to handle and it gets messy pretty quickly to find the CBHC title between all these IDs.. I guess I'll pass on this for now

Granted.... Its not 'ideal'.... buuuut.... by entering the meta folders you can view the icons and banners to identify what game id you are in.

This is the method I used as most of my DS injects are all custom ones so there is literally no database for me! As i said tho, not ideal and could take a bit of time but a sure way of making sure you get the game you want!

the meta.xml might be the best thing to use. it contains the game name and content id. there's probably a logic to the numbering system cuz all of my games were close to each other. if your games are on usb, it's in like usb/usr/apps or something similar.

This is pretty sweet. Is ftp the only way to get these on the wii u? I've never messed around with Wii U internal files yet.

you won't have to mess with the internal wii u if you have the games on usb. there is no file manager for the wii u, but the only other way is to use nus packer and reinstall the game with the changes.

just use the homebrew app saviine, when it loads up all your titles, you select anyone of them and it will tell you the title ID to quickly find it in ftpiiU

Or in the event one is using loadiine and your games are in loadiine format, then you can quickly copy the content folder over onto your SD card and be done. I use Loadiine as essentially my DS emulator and only loaded it up with DS games and injects, so this may be something for others to consider as well.

Funny enough @MikaDubbz and @godreborn, you both recommended me previously to use to use Loadiine for my DS Games. I guess I should have listen as today it could help me a lot lol.

Alright, time to swap my games on Loadiine and do this new config, thanks for the help to both of you.

@K3Nv2 He was looking into consoles for his house anyway (for my younger siblings and himself) and I had a spare XSX and Switch I ended up selling him at pretty steep cuts. I would just give them to him, but I did buy them with the intent to sell them... and college is super expensive.
