I also use wood, but I use elza's patch. It does work with the AP. But it looks like hes not making any progress.... If wood comes with an update, i will use this patch.

it wont work on ttmenu or ysmenu, their firmwares require manual editing, retro will prob update it once you have a near complete translation, its tiresome to have to update its libraries for every update somebody makes

I don't know why... But we have already 3-4 patches and I think that inside those are fery few things translated... I'm not saying "work faster" or anything ( I haven't even patched once my game yet
).
I don't know how hard is to put english instead of japanese in there though
But shouldn't work with your pace and have nice bunches of things all in once in a patch?

There's a fair amount left to translate, but it's the part Elza and I grudge most...

I forgot to update the bugs and known issues - one of the known issues is a lingering lowercase z somewhere in the motto slot costs...yeah, I was too lazy to fix it. Whatever; it's not gonna stop you from loving the patch. It's fixed in my copy; but I literally did it 3 seconds after typing this and I'm not gonna upload another copy of the file just for something that trivial. It'll be in the next patch.
Now to go update the first post. :/

Well, I still have to wait for the next version of R4 Wood to play this. I bet it'll be ready the same time the next patch is up.
There's an AP patch in this thread I found on the ninth page or so in a quote saying that it works after the translation patch is applied, but this was before the most recent version was released. I'll test it and see what happens I guess. The worst that will happen is that it won't work.
The AP patch works fine when applied after the translation patch. I can confirm as I play right now on the latest Wood R4.

the pre-translated but patched rom works with old WAIO (wood for R4 clones)...i beat the whole game...almost. Now all i need to do is figure out how to unlock all "what if" story plots.... >.>''
