I truly find the clone Everdrive GB cartridges to be better. Bought one from AliExpress two years ago and it has always worked like a charm.Yeah, I'm giving up on this cartridge. I regret buying it, since the EDGB (OS v4) clone I have does everything so much better. Especially the menu not slogging page by page. Sorry EZ-Flash, but I'm out.
Yeah, and they're cheaper too by almost half the price. Typically $25-ish on AliExpress, with many shell color choices.I truly find the clone Everdrive GB cartridges to be better. Bought one from AliExpress two years ago and it has always worked like a charm.
How is the battery consumption of EDGB v4 compared to the ezflash jr? I'm playing Pokemon Yellow in a modded gbc with ips v5 and I'm facing some issues to load the save when the AA battery is low (after around 4 hours of play).Yeah, and they're cheaper too by almost half the price. The EDGB is better. It's reportedly not as good as the official X series, but I can't confirm that personally. How is the battery consumption of EDGB v4 compared to the ezflash jr? Good to know! I'll consider in getting a EDGB to test if it works better than the ezflash in my modded gbc. Unfortunally, the official X series prices are prohibitive for me.The EDGB is better. It's reportedly not as good as the official X series, but I can't confirm that personally.
I casually tested power consumption in Pokemon Red's title screen with a cheap USB ammeter and DC input adapter and got the following current measurements. The meter wasn't very precise so these are only ballpark figures.
Bootleg cartridge EDGB EZ Flash Jr Game Boy Pocket 0.05A 0.06A 0.09A Game Boy Color 0.02A 0.04A 0.05A
EDIT: I'm curious, is your Pokemon Yellow an original cartridge? Some bootlegs are known to draw a lot more power than usual while they save.
Does it have RTC?Yeah, I'm giving up on this cartridge. I regret buying it, since the EDGB (OS v4) clone I have does everything so much better. Especially the menu not slogging page by page. Sorry EZ-Flash, but I'm out.
Weird. Wario Land 2 works fine on my EZJr.hello on this flash card with cpu suffix on gbc does not work wario land 2 and 3 i downloaded multiple versions of roms also diffrent sd cards also 3 firmwares 1.05 to test, none of them work! any help?
Hello i had managed to fix wario 2 with firmware from 7-31 could you tell me what firmware are you using and also test wario 3 on the second and third stage? Thanks.I think the least @EZ-Flash2 could do is make the firmware open-source...
So that the community can at least improve it somewhat, even if the RTC is impossible to fix.

Try getting your ROMs from a different source. If possible, search for "nointro + game name".
i have tried diffrent roms and also foud the rom from nointro.. and it still does not work, it locks up on stage 2 or 3 the first levet if i am quick it passes, can any of you test wario land 3 the second and third stage? thansksI think the least @EZ-Flash2 could do is make the firmware open-source...

Has support been abandoned? Or is there still an update planned? As long as you remember to press the button every time to let the kernel restart and backup the save, it does not matter whether you have a battery or not, unless you forget to press the button and just shut down the console, or you want to play RTC games, it is necessary to renew the battery.
BTW, CR1220's capacity is only about 35-40mah, while the common CR2032's capacity is 235-240mah, the former's capacity is only 1/6 of the latter.
i cant really help, sorry, but maybe it would help to apply a save patch. https://github.com/mattcurrie/gb-save-states/tree/master/patchesGot my ez flash jr and noticed something strange: when I play and save on Dragon Warrior Monster 1 (only happen with this game) on my gbc with ips screen, the save don't work (I have done the procedure to save, wait, press reset on cartridge, save on blue screen - with auto save on and off - but the result is always the same).
Tried different roms from the game too, with the same result.
When loading the game, the save is lost (even I seeing the 8kb save file was created on micro sd Kingston 16gb I have).
The save only works when using a gba (with or without ips screen).
Can someone explain why this happens? Thanks
