nicksasa created his own wad using the same images and bricked his wii as well - he did this before i even made the wad file.

I think the issue may be in the images somehow - i removed the files a while ago and i apologise to anyone who may have used these - i wasnt near a wii at the time and i was unable to test , but i used the same method and files as i used for the one i did with my own images so i wasnt worried about it having issues.

i thought they all were - im starting to doubt everything now.

I compiled the inital forsaekn one , and the GBAtemp one with the name and they seem to be fine
and no one has given out about any of the rest in the list so i think they are ok as well

I wouldnt blame you for doubting it to be honest. I was actually shocked because i was actually going to install that one, im so glad i didnt

I should be able to check at least one of them tommorow since the only SD card reader in the house is my brothers laptop and hes asleep. But now im thinking i might just use the original version.

I don't think anybody, including Sicsuicide, is downplaying the seriousness of this issue. Sicsuicide was kind enough to make some artwork for the channel and share it. djtaz was kind enough to roll the graphic into a WAD. Something somewhere got screwed up and pointing fingers doesn't fix anything. Also, as I said before, djtaz warned that this had not been tested. I can't speak for others, but I personally am accepting the responsibility of my actions on this one. I chose to try and install an untested WAD knowing what possible risks were involved. The fact that my Wii is bricked falls on me. Blaming other people isn't going to help resolve this problem at all and will more than likely hinder and possible resolution being found. If you really care about people's Wiis getting bricked then you can help us by not pointing fingers. Just my thoughts.

and come back to see everyone freakin
If i could fix this i would
I had a decent respect from ppl
on nes-hacks
But as of right now
I feel really shitty
and like taz said
in some weird way it might have to do with the pics i loaded up
I dont know if the need to be png or gif
I re-colored and loaded in the correct sizes

and im sorry for that
just wanted a snazzy channel with the whole color motif
on the same bar now blue,orange and black&green

but then again
you all knew the risk in using such things before using

yeah, personally I'd blame anyone who hasn't listened to the 95 times I've said (and I'm not alone) be on 3.2 with starfall and tp-hack before you install unofficial wads. don't treat people like crap for something A) avoidable and B) completely unnecessary anyway, even if someone in some bizarre scenario had forced the backup-launcher down your throat, no one forced a channel down there...

..read my above post with the info I typed up, it'll help for people who learn from reading, and then the savemii homepage has a nice visual for visual learners.
hopefully something will save some of you.
