Hacking Has anyone figured out how to dump HG and SS saves?

I have an M3i Zero and when HG and SS came out it wasn't working well with it. I was impatient, so I went out and bought Soul Silver release day. Now that M3 finally released a firmware update that'll allow it to work, I want to dump the save and finish it on my M3, but the option is grayed out on NDS Backup Tool WiFi. Has anyone been able to successfully dump the save yet?

You need one of the USB backupers, and you need to play around with the wiring and wire it straight into the opened cart.

Can you give me any links to something that explains this a little better? And I find it weird that I have to actually open the cart just to backup a save. There's no easier way?

The connection that's normally used for the save data had it's purpose changed (because of the inclusion of the IR port) and it needs a specific signal to change from IR mode to save data mode (basically), no current homebrew has figured this out yet, and only the NDS backup thing plus (+, PLUS, not the regular one) can back them up... unless you open your cart and do some soldering.
