Questions are super easy, mostly what is your firmware, I.e. 4.1J or whatever, do you want to install a custom theme, and other things u don't need to study for.
Modmii will direct you to be able to make backups of your own original discs and play them. If you are looking for pirated rips of games modmii wont help you find them. However a wii modded by modmii would still be able to play those kinds of backups, even if you didn't personally make the backup.
If you are hesitant, remember you can run ModMii on your PC, generate your custom guide, read it, all without HAVING to actually do anything to your wii. You should start feeling more comfortable proceeding after reading your modmii guide
