sorry i created another post for the same reason since i can´t understand how does wii modding works.
recently found my wii and it still worked. it appeared that it was already modded, probably only playing from backup dvds, this wii has been modded by another person.. and i was scammed. it wasnt updated to 4.3 in 2015 while nintendo update servers where still up for updating officialy. probably because it wasnt possible to install bootmii boot2. When i runned syscheck i noticed some things that i think should be updated or installed:
- Old cIOS´s from hermes( i think it was the only option at the time and they still work)
- NO BOOTMII BOOT2 OR IOS (i don´t even know how it didn´t brick itself)
- NO PRIILODER (same as above)
aka. no reason to stay at 4.1U
since to that date i did a lot of things to add at least brick protection. I got bootmii boot2 and ios, along with priiloader. but the only thing that i need to complete my wii modding is a forwarder for a usb loader. because it was installed a full channel that i think it was corrupted ( i had to put it on the last page to even open it and it didn´t detect any usb when opened) so i deleted it.
with no full channel i needed a forwarder. but since 4.3 being the first version to have ios 58 it was impossible to install a forwarder since every one needed ios 58 and i have 4.1. a version that doesnt have ios 58. but it had ios 61.
so i need a way to install a forwarder without bricking my wii. i recently got modmii working and i got a USBLoader(s)-ahbprot58-SD-USB-v14-IDCL.wad file but it says it needs ios 58. how can i install it?
(the dvd loader used ios 222 if needed)
so what i want to do is:
- install a usb loader forwarder without bricking my wii or updating my Cios´s since my games are working perfectly with those ios´s
WII with GC Support in 4.1U with HBC 1.1.0 on ios 61, bootmii boot2, ios and priiloader
