There’s not a lot of methods to do this in recent time, so I figured out this way just messing on my modded 3DS, this is for people who want everything in the base game and haven’t unlocked it and not just CTGP (mostly if you wanna play online with the 3-D)

What you’ll need:

Computer
Modded 3DS with SD card
CTGP 7
CTGP 7 Save Transfer Tool
Checkpoint

Save game editor for Mario kart 7
https://www.marcrobledo.com/savegame-editors/mario-kart-7/

Basically the way to do this is before you do this make sure you have Mario kart and CTGP installed with save files

Now the first step is to go to checkpoint and make a backup folder of MK7 (folder can be named anything)

Second step turn off your 3DS put the SD card into your computer, find the 2 or more system#.dat files under (# = random number) 3ds/checkpoint/saves/mariokart7 go to the save editor and you’re gonna repeat this next part for all .dat files, you can change settings like VR and coins if you want but all you need to do is check all the unlock boxes repeat this process for how many dat files you have also make sure you do the same settings for all .dat files then replace the data files in the SD cards with your newly modified ones

Third step put your SD card back in turn your 3DS on, go into checkpoint and then go to that save folder and hit restore, when is this important part we’re not gonna go into Mario kart seven just yet go into CTGP transfer tool and transfer the Mario kart 7 data to CTGP. This is a very important step. Then quit out and go into Mario kart seven. Now it’s gonna give you a save file is corrupt message and prompt you to delete it and this is normal, and all you need to do is just let it delete and then quit out

Fourth step then go back into CTGP transfer tool in this time do CTGP to MK7 then when you go back to MK7, you should have everything unlocked. Hope this works for people have been looking for this solution for a while.

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:

still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds

It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
