Hey so I'm dipping into the USB loading pool after years of DVD burning. I have a 500gb NTFS hard drive and as we all know, it can play ISOs over 4gb. So my question is: Can I put the loader stuff on the hard drive and just drag my ISOs onto the drive and it'll function? Or do I have to use the wii backup manager and stuff like that?

Thanks :D

Gambia, The
placeing them by hand WILL work
but depending on loader they might need specific name
using a manager is the easiest way to make sure you get them right

additionally ntfs has a feature known as sparse files that can store files with large "empty" areas more efficently
this makes scubbed isos take up much less space
normal windows copy does not make use of that but some managers do

Yeah I just put the CFG USB loader on the drive, and am using WiiBackupManager to transfer my isos over, making them into WBFS files. Thanks :D
