The reason I'm asking is because I am using USB Loader GX (I cannot use Configurable for private reasons) and whenever I try to return to USB Loader GX by pressing "Return to Wii Menu" in the Home menu, my Wii hangs. Or could someone point me to a modded USB Loader GX r938?

EDIT: Switching to HBC 1.0.6 for the time being.

You could get away with doing a search/replace for the title ID and recompiling,if nothing else.

Is the GX project on hold or dead? I love that app, would hate to see it stagnate.

i think its been dead for a while now. i love gx, but since about r898 or so its been nothing but trouble, one fix breaks another, then they fix it and break another. Plus a hundred noobs a day who cant get fat32 working on it without hermes. I like CFG as well but is not as simple.

I can confirm that using HBC 1.0.8 and USBloader GX rev938, when I "exit to loader" from GX, it goes and hangs on a black screen (unable to boot HBC).
Then must hard reset the Wii. Solution: "exit to wii menu" until the GX team issues a new rev (hopefully).

is it a channel ?
the poster says that he replaced the "banner sound" with something more HBC'ed.
But it's a .iso (iso forwarder, to autoboot the wii from DVD) edit : or run it as a game in a loader to return to HBC.

I think this one is better (though, not tested) :
http://wadder.freeforums.org/neorame-s-channels-v2-t218.html
and the extracted dol only :
http://gbatemp.net/t248790-forewarer-dol-f...t&p=3055403

Then use "Hide and Seek" with the dol to make it a hidden channel forwarder, with title ID : JODI (and you can make another one with title ID HAXX too, for very old homebrew)
USBloaderGX (and any other old homebrew relying on JODI or HAXX) will be able to boot HBC1.0.7+

I prefer the hidden channel idea instead of running it as a game in the loader's game list. + it can help older homebrew too.

It is an ISO forwarder for use with USB loaders, certain USB loaders will play the banner sound. In that thread there is also a WAD linked. They all use the same dol so feel free to rip it out of the ISO and put it wherever you want (WAD, ISO, autoboot in Priiloader).

Bunch of fail.

USB Loader GX can't even boot from a fresh install (don't worry, none of you guys did anything, I hadn't even seen the replies)

So...
I'm just gonna use Wiiflow for the, uh... extra feature.
