You don't run Vc.exe. Run cmd.exe and write vc out.wadxomp said:when trying to run VC I GET THIS ERROR VC.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. Nope. Did you have the common-key.bin in both folders?
Yeah I have common-key.bin in both Folder 1 & Folder 2. This guide seems simple but even I can fuck it up lol I don't know what the hell went wrong..
If not, just retry!

They are hidden yes but I have view hidden files enabled on my computer.
Just use the wad posted in the topic - it has the text already deleted. Or, just open the 00000001.app in hex editor and fill with the spaces "Booting [gamexxxxxxx]..."Damn3d said:Hello,

Are you sure you have a Super Mario Galaxy iso on the HDD? And with the exact same ID you wrote in hex editor?xomp said:Holy crap I'm ignant, I forgot to unhide those files... /facepalm
Anyways, my end result of Super Mario Galaxy came out to be 978Kb and it installed fine on my Wii, but when I go to run it from the Channel it just says "Press any button to restart Wii" and it just restarts my Wii. What did I do wrong?

Use one of wbfs gui's, they should show the ID of the game.xomp said:skawo96 said:Are you sure you have a Super Mario Galaxy iso on the HDD? And with the exact same ID you wrote in hex editor?xomp said:Holy crap I'm ignant, I forgot to unhide those files... /facepalm

I do have it on the HDD, I'm just not sure which ID it uses. How would one go about finding out the ID of a game?
