I really don't like the forced motion controls in the menu and it's infuriating to have a D-Pad that could easily serve for navigation.
Is there a way to make the D-Pad work?
Alternatively, I have a PS3 controller and use "PairMyDS3" to pair it. Works in most homebrew, but it doesn't even light up in the Wii menu.

Anything but "Just get classic controller lol" please.

Thank you.

As far as I know, no there is not. You can boot up your Wii with Priiloader (which goes straight into Homebrew) and other methods of booting straight to Homebrew, but if I recall correctly, there isn't a way besides using classic controller.
