Hacking NDS games on Gateway Blue Card, some games freeze. Help?

Using a N3DS, A9LH Luma 3DS sysnand.

As title states, Jump Ultimate Stars (Eng patched or original JPN version) and Portrait of Ruin freeze. Cant even start PoR because the initial saving freezes it. I remember these were issues back in the day and we would update the carts to remedy that. But I either cannot recall how to do that, or cant use it on blue gateway. I dont know.

Has anyone had any success loading previously freeze problem games with blue gateway card?

Well there's a cracked WoodR4 firmware for Gateway Blue that should fix every of your problems.

I was looking info about this, actually even with that kernel I can't make WarioWare DIY work, eventually just gave up. But yours should be easily fixed by updating the kernel.

could be you're sd card had the same problem with games freezing on my gateway card swapped sd's and it worked perfect
