Hacking Emulation Misc Need help with "Wii de Asobu Metroid Prime 2: Dark Echoes"

So I'm in a bit of a pickle, I want to play Prime 2 on the Primehack emulator fork without the technical/control issues. But I absolutely despise the menus (and some other things) in the Trilogy rerelease. I had previously heard about the Japanese Wii release of this game and wanted to try it out, but therein lies my problem: I don't speak Japanese. I've tried looking online for some sort of English patch or mod but no dice, the only thing I could find was a thread which gave instructions I don't think I can even replicate on an emulator (especially since I have the RVZ format of the game) and it had a dead link to top it off. So I'm desperate to figure out how to get English text working in Primehack because then I can get to documenting the many technical issues this niche release of the game probably has in Primehack.

This might help, if you have Metroid Prime Trilogy. It'll let you create standalone New Play Control versions of Prime and Prime 2.
