Not really, if the "Fanboy Army" won they would've localized it without any attention to Europe.

fuck them... I will import the pal version and then pirate the ntsc version if noa decides to release it.

So if they do what you wanted they're bad people? Nintendo is in the business to make money, not to make people happy. Every business is. But the fact that you'd say "fuck 'em" when they did exactly what you wanted is possibly a reason why they don't bother importing in the first place.

IGN made this video somewhat viral...maybe this guy got Nintendo's attention

*video*

he mentioned XenoBlade and The Last Story...I'm almost positive this guy had some sort of impact on this news...

31k view is far from "viral". I've never heard of this video until today.

Can someone explain something to me? I've wondered this for quite a while but, why do games have to get translated twice? Once for Europe and once for USA? Even on games with no extra language options like Solatorobo? I played the E version of Solatorobo and saw no reason why the same game couldn't just be released here in the USA, and aside from video issues, I don't understand why there's a problem on games like this.

NINTENDO response: "with all that money, please buy a couple of 3DS"

If the game's already translated for it's European release, what's keep NOA from just repacking that in NTSC format and making it a preorder only deal? Then customers can purchase it and they just print a run of the game for people who bought it, then they can decide if the game is popular enough for a full scale release.

I thought originally they had plans to leave it in Japan permanently. Language was the main trouble for most people.

I don't think this means much. I feel like it's just to make people shut up about it.

Actually, his original video is over 100K views.
100k views is still not viral.

If milk chocolate could talk, it would have his voice.
If that milk chocolate had any sense, it'd say the same thing.

I love this man.

Same here, but can't you just appreciate the damned message?
