I’ve not changed my vote since day 1.

Besides, I wouldn’t have spent the $9.00 unless I could afford to lose it.

I’m the type of guy that can rip a $10.00 bill in half, burn one half and flush the other half down the toilet and not give a shit.

Cause that’s how I roll! 💪

Ya’ll betta recognize! 😂

I feel better now. Whew 😅

From what I gather the picofly is 100% real.
I hope the original Russian dev gets the credit for making this.

Zecoxao most likely just dumped the firmware from the rp2040 which Matthew77 discovered on the Russian craigslist type site.
He is now probably rewriting the FW and improving it to take all the credit.
I have checked the site myself and can't find any more of these, otherwise I would have also purchased one myself.

There are many reasons to be excited about this.

iolo57 already designed a pcb for the rp2040 for easy soldering :)
Then why is it taking so long? Maybe we can motivate him with a donation? :)

I will volunteer to collect the cash for donations. Plz send paypal to [email protected] and I will be SURE it gets to the Dev.

(Clearly I am joking…never send money to Clowns on the Internet claiming it’s for the Dev.)

Can't wait for this to go public so we can see more damaged switches. I mean people cant even install the nand ribbons right. To install you still have the same nand points D0, CLK, and CMD. People think that because they have a $3 chip and have solder some stuff in the past, that they can do it.

So publicly we know the chip we need.
we know the wiring
we just need the firmware?
Also don't try what you see in the pic below its a pain to try to solder a wire too. BTW I don't have any info I just was getting my chip ready,

Are these words directed at me?
i honestly hope zeco is faster than those ninja's why flaunt having a $9 modchip and not keep quiet til you drop the open source code that would be the smart thing to do just saying
I don't understand it either, brag and not share ;P

i am too thats why i asked
i need to mod a oled switch and dont want to pay 80-100€ for a single modchip with parts worth maybe 20€
and i only need it to install linux on it
Your only options are to either use an unpatched Switch with a jig and payload dongle (e.g. RCM Loader) or to mod a V2 Switch with a HWFLY. Waiting for an alleged $3 Pico modchip to come out is highly unlikely as there hasn't been any recent updates.

I know the pricing of electronics nowadays isn't "how much it actually costs" but "how much we can get away with", but putting up a poll is just cynical.

Probably $150 someone said Anbernic said around the same price as rg556

Nah I'm getting value creep again. I look at a $50 console "but for just a few more dollars you could get XYZ" and I end up considering the Steam Deck.

i dont get why they didn't port the one game that ran the worst on consoles, to pc

like you port everything to pc except the one game where it would make the most sense. why. what do you gain from this
