Greetings. I do not know if you guys still check this thread, but I am having issues.

I have figured out how to move the save over to the Wii from an SD after running the WBFS of the game through Wiiflow and what not. The part I don't understand is why the game is still in Japanese. I have used the very confusing and infuriating Wiimms Iso Tool thing to try to patch the game and I have made sure to use the save file that specifically comes with the patch files. I'm starting to think I may not have patched it right.

To be honest, I really don't have the patience to use that WIT thing again. I had to look up a video on how to use the freaking thing. I would love it if someone could upload the patched ISO and I can go from there.

@IdolMasta Gbatemp don't allow to share isos because is promoting piracy, You need to try to make the patch again (turn off your Anti virus cause many of thems blocks wit tools) or find it somewhere else on the web

I'm not having an issue with my anti virus blocking it. I just have no clue where to put the friggin patch files, except for the patched main.dol. And, I don't know how to convert the dump with the patch files in it back to an ISO. Also, when I dump the iso, I get a DATA and UPDATE folder that have the exact same files in them. Which one do I put the patch files in?

So, I figured out where to put the files and i got the english error message when loading the patched iso. But, the game is still in Japanese when I have moved over the save data that comes with the patch and load the game. What gives?

Edit: Nevermind, I placed the files in the wrong folder.

Glad you managed to patch your game. True, this one was the worst of all my projects to that regard.

Actually I've only done Wii games so far, and even so, each game was totally different in the way it was structured, making me have to learn new things everytime.

I guess I could try to translate for other systems, considering the Wii is actually a boosted Game Cube, but to be honest with you sport games are really not my cup of tea, and I'd like to enjoy a game I'd be thoroughly testing...

Anyway, I'm sure you can find an Iso to download on the Internet, and then come back here to download the patch to apply, but I hereby confirm I won't put any direct download link, since it would be against the rules.

i have both isos but couldn’t apply the patch because the commands you wrote in tutorial were not working
I saw your reply that it is not working with vwii, but have you tried injecting it with techomoon’s injector ?

I guess this is all for now! My next project is a Wiiware, so the patching instructions will be a bit different.

It’s still very early, but the game seems to have silly humor in it (which I’ll try to adapt my best, considering the limited amount of characters I’ll have).

I’ll leave you with an example and a screenshot to guess… Let’s meet again in a few months!

hi there! i'm a mac user and absolutely clueless on how to patch since wimms doesn't seem to have mac support.
also, does the save file information need to be on the SD or can it be on the same USB you're loading the game from? thank you for taking the time to patch this game

Hey, bro! I'm also a Mac user-- I also use Windows ON my Mac whenever I need to (since Boot Camp is essentially free-- all you do is download a legal ISO of Windows 10 straight off Microsoft's website then use it with Boot Camp Assistant), but you can actually use Wiimms on the Mac...

Firstly, about the SD information-- as it says in the README, you have to copy the save file information from your SD TO your actual Wii/vWii.

As for using Wimms, here: Download this Mac version of Wiimms. Extract the files in that.

Then open up Terminal -- it's a program in Applications > Utilities, if you've never had to use it.

In the Wiimms files you've extracted, there should be one called "wit". Drag that into the Terminal window.

So after the dragging, it should say something like...

[yourusername]$ [pathtoyourfolder]/wit-v3.02a-r7679-mac/bin/wit

Then, type in "EXTRACT " (mind the space) after that.

[yourusername]$ [pathtoyourfolder]/wit-v3.02a-r7679-mac/bin/wit EXTRACT

Then find your ISO file and drag it in after the space you typed.

[yourusername]$ [pathtoyourfolder]/wit-v3.02a-r7679-mac/bin/wit EXTRACT [pathtoyourISO]/IKENIE.iso

Then type in "DUMP".

[yourusername]$ [pathtoyourfolder]/wit-v3.02a-r7679-mac/bin/wit EXTRACT [pathtoyourISO]/IKENIE.iso DUMP

Hit Return/Enter, wait a little while, then check your Username's folder. A folder called DUMP should appear, which you can then put files into!

Then you'll essentially do the same thing after you're finished. Drag the "wit" file into the Terminal window again...

[yourusername]$ [pathtoyourfolder]/wit-v3.02a-r7679-mac/bin/wit

Then type in "COPY DUMP ENGLISH.iso".

[yourusername]$ [pathtoyourfolder]/wit-v3.02a-r7679-mac/bin/wit COPY DUMP ENGLISH.iso

Hit Return/Enter, wait a little while, and in your Username's folder, ENGLISH.iso should appear!
