I have been having this issue on select GameCube games that seem to stretch out to full screen, even though I set it to 4:3. Even though I turned on the full screen hack it stretches it even further! I tested this with Custom Robo as shown in the picture and it was overly stretched, with the full screen hack and the glitch on top of it. Does anyone know about what settings I would look change in Retroarch to correct this?

First off: GameCube games were made specifically in 4:3.
Secondly: Hacks to stretch the games won't work on all of them, be aware.

There's still a possibility your code might be wrong though.

Go to Settings-> Video -> Display? (can't remember but it's below "Output") and choose your preferred aspect ratio.
I would choose 1:1, Core Provided, 6:19, 4:3 or Custom.

Results may vary, but try with Core Provided.

Okie doke! I’ll make sure to check it out. Retroarch on Xbox Series S can be unstable so it can explain this. I try to keep my games in 4:3 but it keeps stretching, either in the opening cutscene in Killer 7 or when I move my character in certain spots in Custom Robo.

Update: I switched the ratio to 1:1, cleared out all the settings on the dolphin core when running a game and it works! Now Custom Robo isn’t glitching up!
