Some of you probably already have heard of this, but I thought it was neat to share for those who haven't.
A bunch of game OST was used for the opening ceremony of this Olympics, and I think that's pretty cool. They're of games made in Japan obviously, and mostly consisting of Square Enix titles.
Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Sonic, and even Nier music was featured to name a few.
AFAIK you can't find the recording yet, but after some digging I found this potato quality recording, at least you can see how the music was used:
(I actually don't know if the above recording even has any of the game music lol, could be just other music that sounds similar due to also being from Japan, so if not it'll be a while till clips or footage comes up)
