View New Posts Error

Sorry, the board administrator has enabled search flood control. Please wait at least 3 seconds before trying again.

I'm getting this error every time I click View New Posts. I've tried it in other browsers too and get the exact same message. And no, waiting 3 seconds doesn't do anything.

EDIT: Okay, it's working again. I just have to say that this was happening for me for at least half an hour.

I rebooted the server and adjusted the clock time so search was unavailable for a while
