I think GBAtemp was at its peak when I joined and from then on, I think it went downward since most of great posters retired and so.

The first days I was so shocked that how great community it is but I feel less like it now.

Well, fro now, I like it very much....I've met some people that are great, made few good friends....Had some great debates/discussions....Learned a bit.....

For now, there's nothing wrong with it......But I did realize, that quite few people miss the old GBAtemp, that was a bit serious, but jet more entertaining...

I voted GBAtemp ROCKS!

I love to hang out here.....talking games, learning about different flashcarts, even the general silliness is fun sometimes. News of the scene always keeps ya coming back.

There are very few sites I browse consistently.....less than a dozen. GBAtemp is at the top of the list.

I too check out a few sites regularly and daily, this one/DCemu and a few rom sites! . I check out others but these are my DS interests .

I chose for this site that it Rocks but that's only cause i couldn't find a middle ground answer like " this site is pretty good " or " GBAtemp kinda rocks " :-)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I tried making chocolate lava cakes the other day in cupcake pan, what a mess, my lava exploded out of the cakes everywhere while baking, was still ok tho, just no lava inside.

We had our grandkids over yesterday and I got a small above ground swimming pool I filled for them to play in. Well today I woke to find 3 ducks swimming around in it. Don't mind really but they are annoyingly loud, quack quack. Gotta drain it today. Guess what were having for dinner, lol.

I used butter instead of vegetable oil, and think that's why they squirted out during baking, who knows
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah i think oil is the right call

  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
plus if you're making brownies or lava cakes for people with dairy allergies, you should use oil instead of butter anyway
