Hi,
I know this is an emulation problem, it is my hope that it happened to someone else who found a workaround.

I play Perfect Dark on gamepad with Wii64 rice launched with vwii overclock from Wii U forwarder. Game plays fine. But...

Basically: in mission 2, at some point you enter a room filed with gas, well at least you are supposed to use the night vision goggles. Problem: once you enter that room, the screen darkens progressively until pitch black, without any way I found to reverse this. I can't play anymore, the game is still running fine behind, but becomes unplayable.

The night vision goggles do not work either, turning the screen to greenish without seeing anything. Removing them and it's back to pitch black.

I found that issue also occured when slapping people in multiplayer, it darkens their screen until it's just black and they have to leave the game.

For the record, I also tried with Not64, same issue.

Has anyone been dealing positively with this kind of issue?

Ok, gotcha.
I also noticed the game freezes when trying to switch level at the end of one when playing solo.
fb textures is kinda unstable so i advise turn it on when your actually need it(like only to see the dark room) and the moment you exit the dark room, turn them off, sometimes stuff crashes with fb textures.

Camspy remains unusable unfortunately
I managed to get this to work (as far as the mission was concerned) basically just line up, turn on Camspy and then walk forward while snapping pictures until Objective Complete pops up.

GBAtemp should be legally obligated to ban them, as its against the law to collect information from users under 13 because of COPPA. :tpi:

VR had the chance to integrate with existing games and tech but VR companies said "NO, I WANT MY SHIT TO BE STANDALONE AND MY GAMES EXCLUSIVE TO FACEBOOK"

Back when Oculus Rift was still starting out and being demoed around, they modded existing games to use it as a 360° immersive screen thing and that was AMAZING.

The tech isn't there for affordable power enough VR headsets at a good market value yet sadly, oculus had a good idea but didn't have enough funds for marketing iirc
  • Veho @ Veho:
But now it's "can I use my VR set with my racing games, that would be neat?" "ONLY IF YOU USE OUR DILDOSTICK CONTROLLERS AND RUN THE GAME ON OUR ANDROID-UNDERPOWERED BRICK"

  • Veho @ Veho:
The tech to have quality VR goggles at an affordable price is here, but every set has to have 4 additional controllers and be standalone.

These are the same type of gamers that spend $2,000 on a GPU when a $600 GPU gives nearly the same outcome which is what the market looks at for them to do spend more on unneeded bs
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
If we're talking AAA titles a vr headset would be priced at nearly the same cost as a midrange gaming pc maybe even double
