I have reported a Vib-Ribbon issue. It's maybe related to the intro, or with the opcodes, or maybe with the memory avaliable on the console (Wii).
Well, I'm under impression it finally works :) It crashed two times for me: once during game, once during loading demo (?) after a while in main menu. Testing on Wii.

@SaulFabre @xjsxjs197 please, compile this new changes ^_^
You can try the following version, which includes optimizations to reduce loading times. It has indeed significantly improved loading times for certain games, such as issues29. Hopefully, these optimizations won't have any negative impact on other games.

New build tested.

There's a small problem: what seems to be a debug line pops out very frequently at the bottom of the screen (for 0.5 seconds, each 5-10 seconds), and makes the screen stutters (the screen, not the framerate).

It starts by
Code:
Lightrec RAM usage value KiB IR: value KiB... and so on
On Doom PSX, there's also
Code:
Warning Unknown opcode
when starting the game.

All games run well though.

Regarding the Linear Filter thing, the image is definitely crisper. Not by much, but it's noticeable enough, especially when looking at lighting FX and detailed textures (R4, SOTN).

Also, maybe it's just a placebo effect, but it seems the emulation itself is a bit faster, and the controls are even more responsive.

Except this debug line problem, good work!

I also noticed this issue that showing a debug line, also have a problem with the yugioh forbidden memories keep giving code dump when switching to 3D battle

I think it's related to the version of lightrec library which was used for compiling.
xjsxjs197 made two versions of that lightrec library for compile with debug code and without debug code, so next time i could continue bringing builds (being very busy with important stuff and development of FriishProduce right now).

On the series s/x you can use a external HD but any next gen games must be on your internal ssd, or you can buy a ssd expansion card, but pricey. Any xbone, 360, or og Xbox games can be played from external tho.
