Hardware WiiWare Dat for OfflineList and ClrMamePro

+1 from me for thanks and also looking forware to the VC list.

I tend to use ClrMamePro and noticed last night that the ampersands were being converted to the string "&"

EDI: found one, looks like the offline list may be doing the same:

I've never had any virus scanners come up positive for OLL 073b2, Trend Micro may be producing a false positive.

For the ClrMamePro: Ahhh, Good catch. I've been converting the Titles for use with OfflineList's XML dat format -- It gets huffy if you don't escape the ampersands. I'll make a note to only escape the titles for OLL.
I'll try to fix that within the next day or so.

(Oh, and I finally have the VC table in mySQL. I'm pottering around and updating the Duplicate IDs, and then it's off to write the publishing script for this dat. We'll see how it goes!)

Okay, I have a version of the dat ready to be uploaded. The only problem is that I cannot seem to get the "Comment" field to work right in OLL: I can't get a dropdown box of systems to choose from. I have absolutely no idea why it isn't working and no idea what could possibly be wrong. Edit: Looks like Psykos' dat does the same thing on my computer, too. Huh.

Doesn't seem to be anything I can do to fix this at the moment..


Edit: Maybe we can debug this together. Family togetherness time! It seems Psykos' dat doesn't have a working Comment search field, either. I tried it out on My OfflineList, on a fresh copy of 0.7.3b2, and a fresh copy of 0.7.2a. Doesn't seem to like either dat. I'm running Windows 7 - I wonder if that has anything to do with it, or does Psykos' dat look messed up for you guys, too?

Tested this on Vista also using PsyKos dat and the same thing happens here

Here are some links. This is a beta, make sure you set OLL to *not erase files* after adding them, because there still may be some errors. It would be wise to use the "Move unknown files" feature and keep an Unknown directory handy.

I'll make a fancier post later. I'm still testing the release and making sure everything is OK, but I wanted to get this out here for now.

Update 1) It seems to be having some issues with games that have single quotes in them. I'm not sure what the issue is yet, but I'm looking into it.

Pushed out the first update to VC. Accidentally nuked the wrong Columns release earlier. Just spent an hour trying to figure out why there were only 310 US releases in the list instead of 311. Hahaha. Good times.

Yeah I compared to my Psykos DAT and he has obviously stopped doing stuff as there were 300+ missing recents plus 3 or 4 older ones. Hmmm

I would skip the +Nukes one myself and (minor nag): I'd have them called Wii Virtual Console Dat by Nago.. so that WiiWare, WiiVC and Wii ISOs all appear in order in your DAT lists.
