Homebrew Wiiware, VC and Homebrew Forwarder ISO's

Hello

Just 1 question , when you have a triiforwarders directory on the hdd ( root ) , all wiiwares works in triiforce , triforde mrc 9 . wii 4.2 Priiloader 0.66 ,Cios 38 rev 17 , Hermes v5 , wiiflow 1.1 r25 , a hdd 1to with 30 go fat 32 ( partition active) and 900 go wbfs

I received a code dump or a message cant' find .dol with images and dol from 3 iso studio 3 & 4.

Many friends received the same message with rev 19 .

I dont think it works on wbfs, I can only say for sure it works with fat. w8 for spayropasm though he may know more.

A tip!
Rename a app.dol (e.g. Wiixplorer (you can use another app)) to WDMP.dol (if you have Dr Mario ISO) and move it to "triiforwarders folder" (triiforwarders folder must be in the Fat 32 partition) then boot Dr Mario ISO. If "wiixplorer" boot then use 3force.dol V2, 3

The ISO is only a forwarder
WDMP.dol is Triiforce
With this tip you can test:
main.dol (if you can boot an homebrew app with the ISO then the main.dol is OK!) (3force.dol is the cause of codedump)

After successful main.dol test use 3force.dol v2,3 (craptriiforce.dol V2,3)..

Test with craptriforce 2.2 & 2.3

Just a test , if I installed dr mario in my real nand , the result is ok !

You need a syschek report ?

I repeat all my wiiware works in triiforce MRC 9 usb only , for the moment the iso forwarder is not universal , because many wii crash with this !

Last try..
With the partition manager (paragon or something else)
Change Primary slots order
FAT32 Primary 0
NTFS or WBFS Primary 1

Actually , the FAT32 partition is the first and wbfs is the second .

the hard drive is a Verbatim 1to.

it's a good configuration !

Homebrews works and found the hdd !

I have talk with Jiiwah and he say " it's a priiloader problems or wiiflow rev .

Can you create a board with your configuration of test :

Firmware , cios , hdd , priiloader inside or not , etc....


It's a fantastic software , a fantastic idea , but many troubleshooting with vc & wiiware

I continue my test ( other hdd , usb stick , sd , cios rev 14 , 17 , 19 , hermes V4 & V5 , other wiiflow rev )

If you have an idea ( a .conf with the path of the dol in the hdd ?).

It's not the end , it's a beginning ....

It should do - It sounds like you're using the same base as I am, and mine work on wbfs

Its not the dol/iso/partition that is causing this, If triiforce_mrc works with wads installed into emulated nand then it is not a problem with your nand dump. Only last answer is you have an IOS/cIOS compatibility issue.

ok im running into a problem ,im useing cfg loader 56-222 to load every thing my homebrew loads fine but i go to use my wii ware/vc and i get a black screen or it takes me back to the wii menu(it takes me back when i load the dol throught cfg)i have the triifoece dol folder in the root of my sd card woundering if there is some thing im missing?
my wii setup up is
4.2 sys menu
249r19,202 222 223 224 all r5,
i used sfdump for my nand dump(not shure i got program name right)
now i used showmii to install all the wads to my nand
and wad2iso wo make the image.

As Tristar pointed out Triiforce doesnt work on rev19, use his method at the link he posted.

2nd... Did you put the dols the app created in /TriiForwarders/ folder on sd or USB? (the dols are named after the title ID of the wad. The iso forwards to the dol, and then the dol forwards to the wad installed in emunand.)

I have a problem similar to that of Kalidor. It is however different in this regard:

I have a working Triiforce configuration. I can get a homebrew .dol to start in Wiiflow when it is renamed to the id of the ISO fowarder I'm using but when using the actual triifowarder .dol a message returns:

ISFS_Open /Title/00010001/54435250/content/title.tmd failed -106

Reading TMD failed

.dol loading failed

If that points to a folder 54435250 that should be in the /Title/00010001/ directory it does not exist. Any idea what this message indicates?

I'm not alone with this problem !

My wii is ok , triiforce mrc 9 work fine.

wiiflow r25 , wii 4.2 , cios 38 rev 17 , hermes v5 all is ok

3iso studio is not universal , because many wii received the same message with triiforwarders image.

Homebrew iso work fine.

AFAIK you shouldnt have to rename anything yourself. For homebrew, when you make the ISO from putting the homebrew's app folder inside /homebrew/ and make the ISOS, it renames everything to what it is looking for. You then need to copy all of that to your Drive.

3ISOS IS universal, if you rule out operator error. v5 will e very careful to provide plenty of instruction and disallow user error.

When you have an error and need it help it would be much easier to give you that help if you provide a more specific example of the problem.....Like the app your trying to load, and how. use the full names of any dols or IOS's.

Example:
"Trying to load ActRaiser2 ISO from Wiiflow r42 ON FAT/WBFS/NTFS
forwarder dol xxxx.dol in triiforwarders folder on USB/SD
ActRaiser2.wad installed to emulated nand on USB/SD
I get this error..."


Reason is, I need 1 specific example of your problem, the location of every file involved in that process, how your trying to start it.

3isos works for ANY system menu/wii if you have it set up right.
