Homebrew works with YSMenu, period.

Wow xD. A necropost of 6 months (it could be worse I guess), and a double post at that lol.
Firstly, welcome to the forum.
Secondly, try to avoid doing what you just did with your first two posts xD.
Anyways, about ysmenu's gba loading, you need to have the gba expansion (and maybe something else? I don't have an expansion so I have never tried it before). For the second post, never tried the soft-reset, but did you make sure that it was toggled on?
niu said:softreset also work on R4.
http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=203137Did you get it to work personally?
If so, how?
QUOTE(twiztidsinz @ Jan 13 2010, 09:30 PM) Here's my findings (All testing done with a clean, untouched "Castlevania - Order of Ecclesia (U)" ROM):
Untouched ttreset.dat: Sweat-drop SD card with "MENU?" text.
DLDI Patched ttreset.dat: Sweat-drop SD card with "MENU?" text.
Copy of my _DS_MENU.DAT (the YSMenu.nds file) called "R4BOOT.DAT"
Untouched ttreset.dat: Angry SD card with "ERROR!"
DLDI Patched ttreset.dat: Angry SD card with "ERROR!"
As for the hexing, the values were already "corrected" in my version before (and after) DLDI patching.
The first change is some jibberish, the second change is "TTMENU.DAT" to "R4BOOT.DAT.
Turns out, the file linked is already DLDI patched and hex edited.

and very easy to make it work.
