I saw Hancock opening weekend, thank goodness I didn't have to pay to get in thanks to knowing people that work at the theater. The second half of the movie was garbage.

It was like the writers thought "hey how about a down and out alcoholic superhero tries to cope with being the only one of his kind" which was good, and that was pretty much the whole first half, which was silly but enjoyable, and then the second half was a bunch of romantic garbage that not only came off as cliched, but could be seen from a mile away. What a waste.
