I don't know how to help you. Are you sure you are using the correct versions of the game and the cpad mod?

No, all I've done here can only work on the actual 3DS. I am not saying it's impossible, but I am not aware of anything else

What happens when you press L+R+Down? Have you tried it without the DPad patch?

Here is the inverted version
Hey I tried doing that. It enables you he circle pad but it only has 8 direction movement.

Yeah that's the same issue i've got too. Which versions of the game was the cheat made for? Perhaps using that would help?

I did patch it, I followed a video and a website I found, I think it's official or just a good guide. Here it is you would like to see it: https://retrogamecorps.com/2020/09/...ols-on-the-legend-of-zelda-nintendo-ds-games/
See I did try to use this source but when I tried to patch the from it it failed. I think It has something to do with the rom that the creator used for the patch. I think it was a bad dump? Or at least that's what Reddit says lol. Anyways I ended up having to find an already patched rom on a shifty website instead so maybe that's the reason it won't work.... Idk. Can you give me any advice on how to get the patch from the website you linked to work?

I had the same issue, I had to look around and test.

Yeah even after repatching the game I still have the same issue in Spirit Tracks. Only 8 directional movements. No analog moment. Weirdly enough Phantom hourglass has no issues. Anyone who knows anything please help!

I tried The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (USA) with the D-Pad patch, I have no issues with the CPad patch (both the analog movement and the L + R + Down combination work); I am on a New 3DS with Luma3DS v13.0.2, TWiLightMenu v26.7.0 + nds-bootstrap v1.3.2, and TWPatch at 2023/07/22 build.
The CRC32 of the clean USA ROM for the D-Pad patch is 3170189F, and the GameID of the D-Pad patched ROM is BKIE-5818C636, check that yours match with these.
And be sure that the cheat of the CPad patch is active, obviously.

I updated my luma software to 13.0.2 and that fixed the analog issue with spirit tracks. Unfortunately the AP patch that nds bootstrap would apply automatically (from what I've heard it does that now) doesn't work probably due to the dpad patch modifying the game info. Anyone got an idea of how to overcome the AP issue?

Im not sure if anyone else has been having this issue but Ive been playing through metroid prime hunters again on my new 3ds xl with the mod using analogue movement, gyro, c-stick, etc. and the analogue movement is proving to be rather buggy. In exploration its absolutely perfect, but when in battle with another bounty hunter or guardian the analogue stick controls both the bounty hunter and samus at the same time. The fight will go on as normal when standing still but if I walk in circles the enemy will stop whatever its doing and also move in circles, it can be kinda funny when theres 3 or so guardians in the same room as theyll all just spin at the same time which kinda messes with the ai and in turn I end up needing to use the d-pad. You can also move in cutscenes with it. Could there be another variation of the cheat where it includes gyro and c-stick input but uses the default 8 input thumbstick? Im using a dumped AMHP version of the game and if needed I can dump my AMHE version and try the mod on there to see if I get different results. I can also provide videos if wanted.

Wait how do I find my Twilight menu version and nds bootstrap version? Also, what's a CRC32. Sorry if these are stupid questions. I'm just a little confused hahahahha

Hey, thanks for the advice. I changed the Checksum for both game's cheat codes and now phantom hourglass is working perfectly. The only problem is that after activating the code for spirit tracks the c-pad is disabled and only the dpad works. Do you know how I could fix this? Could it be the patch I'm using? I really have no idea lol
would you care sharing your checksum for the patched phantom hourglass rom you did generate?
the cpad mod was working fine on my original usa rom, then i added the xdelta d-pad patch to this rom and while this is fantstic on its own, I have lost the cpad mod.
it is not found in twilight menu anymore and my usearcheat.dat has not changed but the patched rom has a different size hence I guess a different checksum, hence why it is not found by the cpad mod anymore (I suppose...)

Open TWiLightMenu settings, the versions are displayed there.

Also, what's a CRC32.
The CRC32 is a checksum calculation method, you can find calculators online.

The GameID of Phantom Hourglass (USA) D-Pad patched is AZEE-FD8A6DD1.

you can use r4cce to edit the checksum the cheat is attached to directly by clicking the 3 dots near "dup" and selecting the patched rom

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
