    My understanding is that 3DS games are encrypted using AES (advanced encryption standard) in CTR (counter) mode. The way this works is that certain numbers are encrypted using AES in order to produce blocks, which are then XOR'd with the encrypted game in order to obtain the unencrypted game...

    When you were in linux, what did you do to see if it worked? Before plugging the SD card in: Open a terminal and type "sudo fdisk -l" Plug the card in and repeat the command and see if another device appears. If there is no difference, type in "dmesg | tail -n20" and post the output here.

    I'm not your friend, buddy. Interesting straw man. You clearly don't understand the complexities of creating exploits for the 3DS. Lack of a exploit for newer firmwares hardly constitutes death of the gateway. Said to be coming in the newest non-beta version. GW team said they would work on...
