Hacking Backport

I have a minor problem, i downloaded fifa 21 FPKG which included the update file.. I'm on 6.72. i have a feeling it wouldn't work due to whatever reasons.. I want to know how to fix this Fifa 21 file without having to delete and download again, Is it okay to download a backport update patch that supports 6.72 and install it over the base file, will it work? Or what do i have to do?

Yes, but if you installed the update, depending on the app version, you may have to uninstall it. There's a homebrew that can do this. Otherwise, you'll have to uninstall the entire game.
