Homebrew Others Emulator Genesis Plus GX doesn't work

NOTICE:
It works. I was just being impatient as hell and didn't realize that it would take time. GenesisPlusGX is now working as intended.
Heya!
So I was trying to load GenesisPlusGX (I downloaded it through the WiiBrew download option thing) and I did what I usually do with homebrew applications. Go into the apps folder, take out what's in there and put it into my own apps folder in the SD card, and it usually works except for this time.
For some reason, the application (GenesisPlusGX) was shown on the Homebrew channel. The icon was there and everything

But then when I click it, bam it's just black screen. I can't click the reset button, I can't power it off through the power button on the Wii, I have to take out the grey Wiipower cord and put it back in for the black screen to be gone and the Wii to go back to normal.
I tried to load it through Multi-Mod Manager, and this is what I got:

I have literally no idea what happened here but I'm gonna guess it because of something related to not having a wad file or something like that.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to help? Really confused here, lol.

That version posted on WiiBrew (Genesis Plus GX v1.7.5RC1) is now obsolete.
eke-eke (the author of GPGX) still maintains this project and made several updates to GPGX, including improvements, bugfixes and many new features, so please consider updating it by downloading latest build from GitHub.
(Download the genplus_wii.dol file, rename it to boot.dol and replace the old boot.dol of GPGX with the new one)
