Hacking Is it alright for me to play on the last hinge lock? (DSi XL)

I never felt the need to bend the top screen to to the fullest until the DSi & DSi XL. The DSi hinge was quite loose so the top screen wouldn't sit in a position I preferred so I started using the last hinge lock & that's my transition from using the second hinge lock to the last(with the DSi anyway, I'm using all 3 hinge locks on the XL)

IIRC, using the last hinge lock is not good for the hinges, but I'm not sure if this applies to the DSi XL or if it's even true. Could someone clear this up for me please?

1. Try not to bump next time.
2. Using the last hinge lock brings you that much closer to ripping your DS in half (as in, if you bumped the DS on another hinge lock, the top would just move. if it was on the last hinge lock, it hits the plastic on the bottom).

It probably would, but you'd need less force to break it if you compared it to the other hinge locks.
