Is there any way to extract the ROM and SAV file from a commercial GBA cart other than by using a flash linker? I have heard of the Rudolph GBA Backup Tool which inserts saves into the commercial cart which is quite the opposite of what I want. Well, I am quite tempted to buy a flash linker to make a backup of my games before the battery runs out, causing al my save files to disappear (just like what happened to my Pokemon Leaf Green version). I am really new at this flash cart thing so I am really sorry if the answer is really obvious. Any way, thanks!

Use the GBA Backup Tool also by Rudolph using a slot-1 flashcart. Press L and R to change modes.
