I recently injected a handful of 100% saves for some of my games via Checkpoint, with no issues as far as I can tell. The one exception, however, is Star Fox 64 3D. I've made attempts using three different "complete" files, but each time, none of the unlockables that should be appearing are doing so, such as the alternate title screen or music test. Sometimes I'll have *partial* success, such as expert mode being added to score attack, or one or two missions having a high score and a medal, but most stages are still locked and high scores set to 0, so it ultimately makes so little difference that I might as well not have even bothered.

Is there a specific reason why this is the only game to behave this way? Does it have something to do with the fact it's technically trying to inject eight different files, perhaps?

It's the universe telling you to play the game yourself
Thank you for being supremely unhelpful.
If there is DLC involve you need to have the dlc files installed, usually the save would also work cross region.
There is no DLC for the game, nor any updates. This is purely for a base game save from the same region.

What are you talking about? No DLC was ever released for Star Fox 64 3D.

You said "but each time, none of the unlockables that should be appearing are doing so, such as the alternate title screen or music test." my guess you either didn't find a 100% save or you didn't inject correctly.

I'm talking about the unlockables that comes with game progress, such as the alternate title screen for getting all gold medals. I never said anything about DLC.

And I'm using the same injection process I used for every other game: I backed up my original save with Checkpoint, I created a new folder containing the 100% save in the same Checkpoint game directory, then I used Checkpoint to "restore" the new save in place of the old one. As I said, this process has worked with literally every other game I've tried it with; Star Fox 64 is the only one that hasn't worked. And I've tried this with three separate 100% saves, including one hosted on this very site, so I know it's not a problem with the save itself.

A surge protector is a device that protects your electronics from fluctuations. I recommend having your console plugged into one of those

An UPS is even better because it has an internal battery that keeps your system on even if the power goes out, but it's much more expensive obviously

On the series s/x you can use a external HD but any next gen games must be on your internal ssd, or you can buy a ssd expansion card, but pricey. Any xbone, 360, or og Xbox games can be played from external tho.

I've been playing Killer klowns from Outer Space all day, is pretty fun. Basically Friday 13th but with clowns. One of my favorite b rated movies from way back.
