Could anyone make a mod that removes profile icon and gray background for NES/SNES/N64/SEGA? I just want to play 4:3 without having to stretch the image.

Download the mod to Widescreen and delete the script folder, edit the sysmain.scn file, search for Emulator and change pivot to [0.5, 0.5 ] and uvRepeat to [1, 1 ]
Thanks! It worked! I'll wait for the N64 and SEGA mods in the future.

The file that removes the icon are the same for all Switch Online only copy. Nes' sysmain.scn file is the same as the SNES file, the N64 file is the same as the Genesis file, as they are more up-to-date, to remove the background, just look for Background (capital B) and change true to false.

I didn't know the folder ID and if they were the same files and settings. I'll try to find the ID and try. It's because I don't know how to extract things yet.

Finally got it working! Thank you so much! I can finally play these games on Switch!

1) No access to the Settings
2) When you want to see the description of the games (only in that games that have 2 or more pages of description) when you press "A" to go to the next page the the description Suddenly closes and the game starts automally

For custom overlays is there a way to get the image in native 720p for handheld mode? Or does it cubic scale the border from 1080 to 720? I'm trying to find out if I can do a pixel perfect scanline overlay for handheld mode, but if it's just gonna interpolate my image then there's no point.

I think we should outlaw healthcare entirely because the fact that people can get healthcare today is unfair to those in the past that couldn't

@Sicklyboy - the comparison would be forgiving all medical debt, not making healthcare illegal!

College costs, college loans, book prices, the entire thing is predatory, oft touted as essential to a successful life for my generation and the ones since, and completely unaffordable without putting you through an insane financial hardship for literal decades in many situations.

It's important for society to be healthy and educated. If those things can't happen because all of the institutions that prop up those industries make it unattainable for all but a small portion of society, then your society is largely going to be disease ridden, dying, and uneducated in very short order.

Issue is it's too rich of a coperation already with bad sugar diets causing diabetes and killing teeth a new set of teeth around 90k
  • cearp @ cearp:
I agree it's not easy for the average American, let alone the ones below that average. Free / cheaper healthcare is much more important I think than free university education.
Of course like @mthrnite said, why not both. But I doubt both will get solved at once, and surely healthcare is top priority.

And if the concern is that "well we can't trust the government to intervene for this because the government can't do anything right and wastes tons of money" then holy shit push for a better government. @K3Nv2 that's crazily expensive. how long will that take to pay off?

Although diet is largely education, people don't need to go to university to learn what's healthy and what's not,
