Gaming One Piece Romance Dawn Translation Project

With my Digimon Projects I don't have much time for this, but after 25 February I might take a look.

I already wrote a half-baked Version of a Text Editor. The Blackscreen is most likely caused by a Pointer Problem.
If it was a VRAM Problem it would be not a temporary but a constant Blackscreen.

Either way, someone asked for a Timeline: Unless the Author picks it up, I will take a look after 25st of February on this.

Btw, do not refer it as a "black screen" issue, the PSP freeze because he broke the game, nothing more, nothing less.
the PSP always goes black screen when it freeze, so stop complaining because you're using a "patch" from someone who don't even test his first...

Have you even tried the patch? It's not freezing, it's a black screen that covers the game during certain menus and then disappears when you exit.

I'm starting to play the game and I haven't experienced the black screen. Btw, I patched it to a FIXED ISO rather than the UNTOUCHED ISO.

Don't worry you will.xD There is no difference between using the patch on an untouched or a fixed iso.

Sadly only the PS3 Version is getting a localized. The Vita one is not.

Sorry if I'm way off base with this question, but what exactly is the situation with the UNTESTED BETA file? I noticed many things are still untranslated but all the items/help files/skill & equipment descriptions/etc. seem to have been translated by various people on this thread already. Are they just not in the "common.pac" or is it due to the fact there is no "common2.pac" with the UNTESTED BETA version. Thanks for any responses in advance.

By the way, I just wanted to let the current project leaders here know that I'd like to help in anyway possible, I'd really hate to see everyone let this project fade and die right when I'm really getting into the game finally. I've always been a HUGE One Piece fanatic, I've memorized nearly everything there is about One Piece and I own every single manga volume and all current episodes of the anime, so I can help with correcting and naming and with any errors, I also know some (not alot but enough to get by lol) Japanese, so any way I can contribute to this already amazing project I'd love to be able to help (as long as I have the tools to do so).

I actually joined this site just so I could contribute if possible
