So I have been using the original Everdrive GBA since it launched, and just recently upgraded my GBA to a Boxy Pixel Unhinged SP with the SP IPS screen.

While playing Boktai, there are several areas where the pixels are super bright, (sun spots to charge your solar gun), which never caused screen issues (sometimes bright whites can cause lingering ghosts not dissimilar to typical screen ghosting),

However, I just got the new EZ Omega Definitive...and suddenly any light or white pixel causes lasting ghosting on the lens. The game looks identical when playing on either flash cart (the EZ Omega doesn't seem brighter at all) and I did not modify the SP with a brightness control so it is always on the default brightness (which is pretty low)

Why would the Everdrive have no effect on the screen, while the Omega Definitive causes ghosting like this? It definitely seems to be an issue with the card and not the lens itself, as I have swapped back and forth several times to see if I can recreate the issue, but the Everdrive remains flawless while the Omega consistently causes this ghosting. And I have tried on several games with the same result. Even white text if you leave on the screen for a few seconds will do this.

Has anyone seen this while using an IPS screen (o any screen for that matter)? It is a very odd bug with a flash card.
