This zelda as you probably have noticed is different then the others in terms of dungeon layout. I look at it like this game as one big dungeon. To answer your questions, there are 3 areas. You come back to each area multiple times to complete different parts of each area.

you just need to position yourself correctly in front of both of the eyes. in between the two, and far back enough that they both open.

Hey guys, I am stuck in Lanaryu desert. I have the pincer addon for the beetle. I am standing in front of a large pool of sand, behind me is a tree with a boulder droping bird in it and some impassable walls. The sand pool in front of me has two hermit crab electricity enemies. There are islands in the sand, but I cannot reach the first one before I drown, I fall just short when sprinting.

I cannot for the lfie of me figure out where to go. I need to cross that sand I believe, but I cannot find a blue crystal. I actually did find one ages away by using the beetle and dropping a bomb on it, but it only timewarps a small section of land that is past the impassable walls. I am tearing my hair out here

Never mind, I saw a video and figured it out. Man, I would have never thought of that! Stupid lateral thinking! It was there right in front of me the whole time
