Hi,
I try to choose an old fashioned compact thinkpad with IPS screen. Now I'm almost sure that x220 is the thing that i'm looking for, but do you sugesst some other models? It's for web browsing and casual work, so i5 any generation can be fine and blue enter is necessary.

I think about x201 too, it looks even more classic and 16:10 screen, but tn instead of ips. hmm can't decide.

look at this guys, isn't wi-fi light blinking all the time on the x220? horrible. Now I'm more into x201

I decided afterall for x220, it's possible to switch off blinking led in registry, and x220 is newer platform with less overheating. Cant wait to take it home.

I got one yes, it's in great condition, and keyboard feels so comfy, and even there's a nice led lamp, happy.
