Hi. I have Wii u with Tiramisu.
I did install the USB Loader GX Forwarder on the vWii side and it is working fine.

I Installed USB Loader GX Forwarder (ULGX) to Wii U using WUP Installer GX,
unfortunately I installed it into the internal system memory and not the external HDD.

When I try to launch the ULGX forwarder from the Wii U side it only gives me a black screen and freezes, and I have to long-press the power button to shut down the Wii U.
I tried to uninstall it but could not.. when I try to enter the Data Management menu of the internal system memory, it loops in the into screen for a long time (until I manually force shut down). I can inter Data Management menu for the external HDD with no problem.

I have tried to copy a small game app from the external HDD to the internal system memory (as suggested solution on another thread) and it did finish the copy, but still no changes.

Admittedly everything else is working FINE; but I only want to access my internal system memory and UNINSTALL the ULGX forwarder from my system. Is there a safe way to do that ??

I made the same mistake before but can actually delete it from internal memory, so I think maybe it is related to your emmc? Have you tried to determine the manufacturer of the emmc? You know what I mean for a wii U...

Thanks for the reply.
My system is the 32 Gb model.
To my best knowledge there is no previous/other problems with the wiiu emmc (internal memory), no error messages.
My main games are installed on external HDD so it is not a big deal :)

I do not know the manufacturer of the emmc (I believe you are referring to the assumption that some Hynix cards have failed recently). I will make sure to take a back up of my NAND anyways.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:

still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds

It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
