I will show you "some" progress
This is one of the biggest pains:
Check how the "Map" text is smaller than the area. The game does some maths based on monospaced chars, so this is quite painful to fix. Also trimming the instructions to fit the text area below is a must-do.

I need free time or a very kind person to work for me for free so I can focus on my hobbies...

Now it is just my part is left, but this is not just a work of myself... for example, the impressive graphics edits are made by @Sliter and some romhacking was made by @liomajorOoooh, these look so nice!! It's really interesting to get an insight on how things work. Thank you for the update

i want translate this game but went i translate this game say error again. How i can translate some text on this game???
I just edit the text files in Notepad++.
This game's language files are not a strange file format...
Is there anything I can do to help, I got some free time recently, and really want to see this project succeed!
Well its been over 1.5 years since I discovered this translation project and I'm happy to say I've finally obtained my copy of the game! Thx to @Chelsea_Fantasy for continued work on the English translation!
PS: ik 3ds's can't access other region's eshop's yet I'm getting that update notice, is there a risk of me getting banned, or will the update just not download as I assume?

Ive done C++, HTML and some python.
What can be helpful ATM is QCers who speak both JPN and ENG so he/she/they can help QCing the already translated files or spot some "lost in translation" joke that I missed and maybe we could localize somehow.
Also, someone with skills to fix the long title box issue (due to the game doing maths based on monospaced chars). That's a bit of advanced ROM hacking...

I think my favorite PS1 enhancement is sub pixel precision, helps get rid of some of those wobbly polygons lol+1

There are ways to disable this by creating cheat codes, but this requires knowledge of the PS1 hardware.
