Thanks for your help. Downloading the previous 1.1 version didn't help either so I guess I'm stuck until they release a new patch.

Can someone post a video of them getting a 16-hit combo in Mother 3? It's really hard to do in VBA (due to audio syncing problems), but I'm wondering if this is any better.

You should definitely put the game_config.txt on the first post, and explain what it does.

Updated list if you wanna go over it again and put games that you don't have on the list, on the list.

Unfortunately, my games still get stuck with the game_config.txt fix. I do get much farther with it though. Now I can (sometimes) get to the step where you name your rival in Pokemon Fire Red....then it freezes -.-

It may still need an SRAM patching. I haven't read about any problems on the Supercard forums yet, so I'm not sure if they all work perfectly yet.

Perhaps you can also try a clean download of the ROM, or if you've got the patience, a reformat.

I remember that I had found a way to fix it and I thought it would be there because that is were I get most of my GBA patches, but why bother getting such a crappy game anyways.

Because the game is actually good >.> it's alot better than the first one. none of the patches I've found have fixed it it's starting to get irritating.

Have you tried GBAta or the gameconfig? I'm not sure if those would help, i'm interested in getting this working too, so please post if you get it working

I have found that with Mother 3, the second save slot often gets corrupted and deleted. I am using the sram patched version though, could that be it?

After reading over the thread; It seems more laggy than it should be given the extra memory and CPU. I hope they continue to optimize the emulation core, rather than improve the frame skipping technique. I'll be getting a SCTWO soon anyway, its a new cart, some things take time.

the early gbatemp preview suggested it performs the same as the original iplayer gba emulator did, anyone know if supercard is actually developing the emulator or if they just reskinned and shoehorned it in?

I haven't noticed any problems with lag on any of my games (except Bomberman Tournament, which slows to a crawl when an enemy is hit).
It does frame skip, but not to the point that the games break.

Well from what I heard the GBA emulator on the iPlayer had shitty compatibility and only worked on half the GBA games, but from what I can tell the SCDS2's GBA emu has really good compatibility and I've only run into a few snags.

People over exaggerated the bad compatibility of the iPlayer emulator. I've tested quite a few games with both my iPlayer and SCDS2 and compatibility seems exactly the same apart from the Supercard emulator now has RTC.

Also the emulators are both the same emulator and it is very unlikely that the Supercard team but they didn't just reskin DarkChen's emulator. If they had done that it would have been extremely hard for SC team to add any features to it (like RTC) because the source code was never released neither was the SDK for the iPlayer which allowed DarkChen to make the emulator.

The iPlayer and SCDS2 are both made by the Supercard team and it is quite probable that DarkChen is a member of the Supercard team who pretended to be a nobody so he could get help porting an existing emulator but instead just got flamed and such (until it was released).

The Supercard Team is very dedicated to the DSTWO and is updating the abilities of the emulator. Recently they added RTC (Real Time Clock) support to the emulator. They also modified frameskip some to get more games running better. I'm sure they're not done with it yet.
