"I hope that someone will sticky this but I created this thread so that someone could post the different versions of the Gamma Channel with pictures of their banner and a pic of the main menu. basically the formula should be like this

-Channel Name/Info-
-Who Made It-
-Link-
-Banner Pic 1-
-Banner Pic 2 (if the banner changes images like most)-
-Picture of the main menu-

This way people here can pick the best channel to suit their needs. If you need to add another .WAD to the thread, please edit your original post so that you get credit for your channel modification.

I agree, there is far too many revisions to search them all out and know which is a personal favorite. I see links everywhere for this one and that one. Would be nice to close all unecessary threads too and just have the important ones. So one for Channel Wads, one for cIOS's, one for Loaders.

I know they are here already but they are scattered everywhere and people are linking back and forwards. A few sticky threads would be nice that only get updated with new versions of whatever.

Yeah, I remember forsakns one but in blue...... and you had to press hold B to autoboot. Thats the one i was after... ill inject the .dol later and ill be back to this thread with pictures!

Just to add, can whoever is uploading these files make sur ethat the actual filename is clear. I have downloaded numerous files over the last week or so and they are sometimes so unclear that you end up with a bunch of files with random names and it's impossible to remember what is what.

I might sound fussy, but I am sure others have had the same issue.

The Wads in the folder, there are two that it is impossible to tell what is what. So I am thinking, if we use this thread for the different versions but give them a number. So yours would be number 2, and the first image on here would be 1 obviously. Then if you could add the same number that corresponds with whatever version to that file name so people can look here choose the number they want, find it in the Wad folder and install it easy as pie

Isn't that the point in this thread. To stop all the linking back and forward. Can someone who knows how to and knows where they are, bring them together into this thread. Djtaz's ones he has already linked , the blue-ish one, and any others, with pictures and numbered so we can easily see what is what.

Any help is appreciated and makes it easier in general for everyone.

This is only out and loads of new things appear when this happens - im going to update my WiiHowToGamma with images and explanations like i did with the original how to so that it shows each channel and the name next to it.

That should help people out with the loaders i have anyway

I do agree with some better naming though - the amount that are just named "backuplauncher.dol" is silly.

I try to rename them when i get them if they are like that - and i keep the best i find on hand most of the times.

I was even thinking of suggesting a customised Wad section for people who wanted to supply their own images once this whole thing calms down

I am assuming that renaming any of the wads doesn't actually affect the wad itself and so I would suggest you simplify their names to the following:

Forsakens Gamma Channel.wad
Wiigators Gamma Channel.wad
Blue Theme Gamma Channel.wad
ect
ect

If that makes sense.

One of the biggest issues I have found using files from this site, is that they are worded in such a way that it's very difficult to keep track, especially when there is constant revisions and wads floating around.

The easiest way is to just rename the files to more simplistic names that are easy to remember. So Forsakens channel, is simply Forsakens Gamma Channel

None of this 0.3BackuploaderGamma.wad.
