Edit your own 00000000.app with banner, icon and banner.brlyt. Then place the modded 00000000.app into gamefolder, the program will use it.

It also crashes after the title screen when the dragons fly to the castle.

Well the tool works perfectly! I now have Earthbound on my Pal Wii!

No. Each n64 emulator is set up specifically to support the one game it is meant to run. Certain functions that will allow S&P to run can easily break support for another game, in this case 1080.

Used Temporal Flux to remove header and expand

Obviously I'd love to have the complete copy
CronoNick + Elements + Japanese Ending Art, but to just have the retranslation patch inserted and not crash would be excellent.

The inyector can inyect roms of Super Nintendo of any size. But I can't tell if the emulator will run them, anyway. Probably any game with special chips will work.

And there is no SNES rom of 200 Mega Bytes at all!

Back from work and just tried this out. Still no success.

I´ve tried injecting Pilot Wings into S&P, since that should work, and Aladdin into DKC2.

Both started and crapped out at the same point.

The message error:

Using ROM file: Aladdin.smc
Can´t open new 00000005.APP

and

Using ROM file: Wings.N64
Can´t open new 00000005.APP


Hope it´s something simple, Thanks if anyone can help.

Make sure you are using short filenames for files and folders, and that you have a structure like this, for example:

c:\vc (program)

c:\vc\game.wad (the wad where you want to inject)

c:\vc\folder (the folder with the content you want to inject)

If you are doing it this way with short filenames (8.3) and still have this error, tell me exactly how is your folder structure and the names of the wad file and the files on the subfolder.

Thanx for the extra help.

I´ve moved the VC folder to the C:\ directory

So C:\VC\sin.wad
C:\VC\Wings\Pilotwings64.N64

and C:\VC\dk2.wad
C:\VC\Aladdin\Aladdin.smc

As said the prog craps out when it tries to open the "new" 00000005.APP

I was left with a new folder named "000100014e414a4c" after attempting Pilotwings,
and one named "000100014a424450" after trying Aladdin.

Among a lot of others, there is a 00000005.APP file in both of those folders!

Dunno if that´s any help, but even if not thanx for taking a look.

I'm not too fused about Chrono Trigger but I'll have a go at injecting the rom into it. I was hopying you would have posted a link to the patch mind. *goes hunting for it*

EDIT: Yep, the retranslation froze on me too. Not much that can really be done to fix it.

Might be worth checking if the original rom works.

Okay, I'm trying to inject a different rom in the same Mario Picross Pal 60hz wad but in order for the WAD to not delete the previous one, I have to rename the title ID.

So I change the title ID with the tool and install it on my Wii. It boots up fine, message about classic control comes up and doesn't load the rom. But I can still access the Wii Home Menu.

Not sure what's going on there.

For now I'll just use the Gradius SNES Pal 60HZ wad.

Hey mate i don't get any of your instruction on the first page..could you show me how i can replace a NTSC .WAD (allready "freed" by freethewad) using SNES to play on PAL 60 using this program??
I don't understand how to do it..
