most antivirus software is just overprotective
my best example so far:
when configuring a wireless network you can let windows put an automatic configuration tool on your USB stick so you don't have to fill in details on all routers and PC's.
but norton thinks that tool(which is technically part of windows) is a virus and deletes it without warning/notification.
EDIT: another example!
according to avast batchdpg is a trojan too.

Glad you like it, i just renamed my platinum save to the translated one and continued where i originally saved.

just tried it out, and it seems some text isn't correct anymore.

in platinum the prof gives you a pokemon, but your mom still talks about how the prof will understand you "stole" his pokemon to defend yourself.

the one i uploaded is the one rykin made, but packed into a single executable so you don't need a patcher or commandline script anymore

Thanks thedicemaster. I was was feeling too lazy to research how to make an exe patch- I'm glad someone did it.

Also, thanks very much to Normmatt. I'll take a look at those files and try to get some of the stuff I missed.

-Sidenote to anyone using the patch. I did blindly copy some text from Pearl straight into Diamond, so expect to see storyline errors here and there.

I suck at anything that isn't IPS.
Can someone make an IPS patch, or a .RAR with all the neccessary files preconfigured. Batch files work best there.

I also noticed some of the story txt was translated to english as well, e.g when you rescue the little girls' dad at Valley Windworks and when you are asked to escort the girl through Eterna Forest

I noticed 2 glitches, 1 is a game crasher >_>, the first one is after you beat that red hair lady at the floroana windmill works, for some reason her text glitches and turns into the text of the workers little girl, and the worker's text just glitches out. The game crashing one happens when you try to buy honey from that guy in the flower garden/meadows, the game crashes right after the buy menu pops up, and all of the options are blanked out.

Yeah, I just checked and it seems that I mixed up some of the text in the Florana area.

Edit:
You can buy the honey, but doing anything afterwards does seem to crash the game.

For right now- if the game freezes/crashes during a certain part, I suggest playing the save file on the japanese game and then returning to the patched one.
