One: With Japanese DP, you could easily copy your Japanese .sav to your English game.
Two: Personally, I tend to play through the japanese games really fast and when the English version comes out, I trade over my items, Pokemon, ect. I've been doing this since Emerald as I like having the extra Legendaries,TMs, and so on.
