I just changed the internal battery on my M3 Perfect Lite -- and can confirm that the guide for changing a battery on EZFlash3in1 (found on this site) also works for M3 Perfect Lite!

Battery purchased from DX -- cheap and works!

Cool; good to know that's an option, as well. I doubt I'll do it for the moment, as the M3 GBA Expansion Pack seems to work perfectly with ExpLoader and all the games I've tried so far. I keep the Perfect Lite around right now mostly for when I want to run homebrew from slot-2 (such as for dumping a DS ROM, or savedata); and for that you don't need the internal battery or RTC.
