Had to post this, and it is sort of a bellow, because it always irks me to listen to you kids complaining about needing it to be the cheapest possible option (when discussing carts), and really, if you are actually making decisions based on a difference of a couple of bucks, my advice, get a fucking job so that a difference of 5 bucks simply won't be relevant.

Where to buy such and such from. I could just as easily respond with a friend of mine (he also has an account here), but he's not the 'cheapest' option. He is one of the RIGHT options though.

He sells flashcarts, he sells them fully loaded fully prepped, fully installed with a whole ton of games, which could be basically from the entire friggin Nintendo catalogue. He can likely even ship you a set of the entire catalogue of games on disc if you asked.

He knows precisely what he is doing, and he is a private individual that just happens to be a genius with a computer and a total gamer. He's played em all, the Wii games, the Sony Games, the MS games, as well as quite a few of the more isolated consoles. Like I said, he's a gamer. He's not an operation out of China, he's a buddy of mine and a Canadian by the way.

But he does this to make some cash eh guys. His flashcart will not be 10 bucks but 40 bucks in some cases. You say, but I can get it cheaper. Go ahead then, be my guest. Order the fucking thing then and shut up. But keep in mind, when you arrive here whining that you got a fake or clone or something is wrong with it, or you can't understand the process of loading it up, you COULD have spent the cash to get it done expertly too. Then you'd be playing all of the games, and they would all work because he'd have seen to it they did before sending it to you in the first place.

The stores are not that concerned about you eh. Just another little snot wanting to play illegal downloaded games.

So remember, when you are on the site, whining about the prices, and the need for finding a good place to order from, and worried if it will work or not, you do have the option to get it done right, or you can save a few bucks and be yet another whiny brat starting a thread about flash cart troubles which you could have avoided if you weren't so damned cheap. And no, I don't want to hear of your unique exception to that eh. There's no where on the planet where getting a job doesn't work. And there is no where on the planet, where dealing with a private person through private mail won't function.

You don't need to have any specific form of method of cash changing hands, you can always communicate with the person at the other end for something both can like.

ok end of the bellowing hehe.

I agree, it's rather annoying that people consider price an option when they're getting a device that will almost definitely be for downloading free games illegally, and then baw when they get a fake or clone.

My aunt Liz is the worst for this. She'll buy absolutely anything from the reduced section in Tesco, regardless of whether we need or want it. She seems to think if something is cheap it must be worth having. Doesn't seem to twig that in most cases, cheap things are cheap for one of the following reasons:

- It's fake.
- It's broken.
- It's gone off.
- Nobody wanted it in the first place.
- It's just plain shit.

There are of course exceptions to the rule, genuine bargains out there. I bought every episode of Fawlty Towers at a car boot sale for a mere £1.50. I just recieved my SkullCandy headphones from eBay too. They may not be the greatest headphones in the world but when they cost me only £9.50 instead of the usual £35-£50, they'll certainly do.

Cheapest isn't always best (it's 95% the case in Singapore). My $1.99 bottle cracked after dropping on the floor but my $13.99 one still survived up till this day.

But still, not all products are like that.

wtf who the hell are you to complain about people wanting to not pay all to much money for their stuff ?

I can understand that if you try to help someone it can be bothersome if the one allways says "no its to expensive" for every possible solution but there are people in this world who just do not have the money, doesn't matter wherever they life.

When i go shopping I mostly look double the time my familie and friends do only to see if i can get stuff cheaper, I work 40h a week only to earn my 600€ and I really do not want to waste it !

and there is more than enough stuff thats just overpriced and some very cheap things sometimes are very very good ! there are even reports on cheap no name products that are made by good companys that sell their stuff very expensive under their normal brand.

It goes the other way too.

I know people who think that the more an item costs, the higher quality it is when in actuality it isn't all that good.

Pretty much the only reason you hear people whining about flashcart prices are because the majority of people who browse these forums are kids who don't have a job.

As a matter of fact most cheap flashcarts are good. The R4i Gold and the Acekard 2i are both around $10 and are pretty damn good.

I have plenty of money, but sometimes cheaper is the better option.

If there is a cart with a bunch of features you would never use, and it's like $10 more than a more basic one, it makes sense to save the $10...

That's how I see it. But for me, that's not the case. I have a DStwo and love everything it can do.

I can buy a GENUINE R4 (1:1 clone) from ZhuZhuChina (for example) - because I know they wont rip me off - for a mere $2. Plus I know what I'm doing so I don't need to pay $50 extra for someone to put the games on for me.

Yeah, how dare people save money and not go out and buy the most expensive thing they see!
Anyway I'll use apple as an example
smileipb2.png

Anyway there is one reason people get clones and such.
BECAUSE THEY DON'T DO THEIR RESEARCH!

OP, Selling flashcarts might be legal in Canada, but selling flashcarts including a microSD loaded with roms is probably not. Make sure your friend doesn't sell one by mistake to a RCMP cop or a nintendo rep, or he might find himself in a world of

Not always true, I once saw a LOAD of CLUB Biscuits (raisin flavour) in the reduction section for 20p each. And I'm talking about the full packets like this:
Jacobs---Club---Fruit---8.jpg

I think they were reduced because their best before date was that day. So I bought literally 25 packets costing me only £5. They tasted delicious and hadn't gone off at all.
The only problem was by the time I (and my family) had got to the last few packets (about 4 weeks after) they tasted a bit... weird... but still edible.

They're not allowed to sell you goods after their "Sell By" date. They can sell you goods after their "Best Before" dates but have to say (I think...not sure on that one)

Trust me, my local Tesco has no problems selling you something older than yourself. I got a microwave ready meal from there a while back and the pasta turned to caramel in the microwave. I was throwing up all night. Went back the next day demanding words with the manager and he gave me store credit to get myself something else. But only when I made it apparant that I know my rights and won't hesitate to use them.

I kinda disagree, if you're a smart shopper and know what you're doing you can find legit stuff cheap on the internet.

sometimes cheaper is better if you know what you're doing

so wait, your friend is putting illegal games on flashcards and then expects to be paid for that?

also, yeah, we all know
expensive isnt always the best
cheap isnt always the worst

taking everything into account, price will not predict quality.
quality will predict price up to a certain degree, but really, trying to make a rule out of this just wont cut it

u never buy the cheapest stuff or the most expensive. the cheapest stuff is usually made with cheap parts obviously; the most expensive stuff is usually made with parts or technology that is still new and unreliable. that's my experience anyway. always buy in the middle.

I get where you're coming from, but there are some things you don't seem to get. For example you say a difference of $5 shouldn't matter, but when you start paying $5 more for everything it adds up and it really can matter. Also the thing about your friend; first off charging people extra for illegal games is sleazy, but regardless of that, most people who don't know much about flashcarts aren't going to find somebody like that.

There are so many cases where "you get what you pay for" just doesn't apply. There are plenty off things that cost what they do because of the brand printed on the label. I personally would rather pay less for an inferior product and get my monies worth, then pay a lot more for something that isn't much better, especially if what I'm paying more for can be obtained for free, such as illegally downloaded games.
