I think there's an issue with the Yokai Watch games. me and my friend, as some other people hasn't gotten any streetpass events in the yokai watch games. Not sure what's going on

Thanks for contributing to the 3DS modding community! Your app has a lot of potential and is breathing new life into an amazing series of systems, like the new Virtual Boy emulator and the recent archival projects have brought us. Looking forward to seeing what future updates bring (it's very early on right now, of course).

if you need to access file from gitlab, then you'll need to have mirror from other place than gitlab

Getting a lot of crashes today, normally it worked after reopening after the first crash but now it can't complete all uploads/checks without crashing...

Do you have to stay on the app for it to work? for example I went there once, then I left the application and in three hours I will come back to find out if I had any streetpass encounters
thanks!

Help wanted!

Soru has been trying to debug this for hours and hours at end and is only going in circles......
So, there seem to be random crashes related to libcurl and multithreading. Now you might immidiately say: libcurl isn't threadsafe! That is exactly why the easy handles and the multi handle only live within a single thread: https://gitlab.com/Sorunome/3ds-streetpass/-/blob/main/source/curl-handler.c?ref_type=heads#L30

Soru is really at a loss and uuuh does not know how to continue currently, because of this issue. Which is why she is reaching out. Please, help, if you know about such programming stuffs

The problem gets even greater once you realise that soru didn't have a 3ds back then so soru is just trying to simulate what she thinks is how streetpass used to work XD but yeah, soru is trying to take more usecases into account.

Thank you! Soru does not plan to touch play coins at all, as they still work well within the mii streetpass plaza

A priority is an interesting idea and wouldn't be that straight-forward to implement, but it should still be possible. Maybe!

Thanks a lot, glad you are enjoying it!

Translations are ready to be added!

Many have asked about translating the app. Soru got the code to a level now where that can be added easily. For that, edit this file and make a pull request. Alternatively, uuuuuh, dump all the texts in here and soru can copypaste them over. Possible languages can be found here. Thank you in advance, to everyone translating!
So I finally have the time to do the Spanish translations but I have no idea how to edit. There is an edit button, and I made an account to edit... but it doesn't seem like I can? Maybe Soru can send the data that needs translation via PM?

Oh also for the plaza in the Japanese someone made it プラザ which I guess works, but they do have a word for that in Japanese: 広場

I got a bad habit of taking out usb transmitter and loosing it because they can't you know print names on the damn things

But any desktop OS, I've never had anything but frustration trying to get Bluetooth devices to work reliably and stable. It might pair and connect once, and then next time I go to use it I have to delete and re-pair it again

Even my Xbox One controller I have it paired to my desktop over Bluetooth, it USUALLY works but sometimes it refuses to connect and I have to delete and re-pair it. Maddening

Ran a driver update in device manager?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Not recently but I think it's less a driver issue and more just Windows having a garbage Bluetooth stack
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Could be I was having issues when I first upgraded it and didn't realiser gigabyte has specific driver revisions which is stupid

ive never had luck with built in bt transmitters. They're always in the back of the pc and signal is super crummy vs a usb bt dongle in the front of the pc,
