In order to flash my NDS Lite with Flashme and because the main flashme site seems to be down since weeks i searched the Web for the newest flashme v7

Now i found 2 Versions of V7

1. FlashmeV7 - size seems 269 KB
2. FlashmeV7 - size seems 525 KB

Anyone knows the difference between those two version ??

The larger file size verison is the latest. It incorporates both DS and DS Lite flashme into the same file. You can grab the latest flashme files from my Flashme Guide I posted on GBAtemp.

yep, use the largest one. The smaller one is the beta version and will remove your 4 brightness settings. The 525kb one is the right one. I used it, and it works perfectly.

The smaller one is NOT the beta version - it was just the V7 before the Lite came along. Really they should have changed the version number to V8 when they included the Lite firmware (or 7.5 at least) to prevent confusion.

yeah i already expected that the bigger firmware MIGHT be the one that supports the nds lite, but then both states V7 and that was really confusing.. atleast if you are new to the nds scene and havent followed the whole process

A surge protector is a device that protects your electronics from fluctuations. I recommend having your console plugged into one of those

An UPS is even better because it has an internal battery that keeps your system on even if the power goes out, but it's much more expensive obviously

On the series s/x you can use a external HD but any next gen games must be on your internal ssd, or you can buy a ssd expansion card, but pricey. Any xbone, 360, or og Xbox games can be played from external tho.

I've been playing Killer Clowns from Outer Space all day, is pretty fun. Basically Friday 13th but with clowns. One of my favorite b rated movies from way back.
